So Christmas is almost here!!! Did I mention I loooove the holidays, from the Christmas songs down to all the beautiful decorations. But my favorite part about holiday time is the enormous amount of delicious food and cocktails that are served up. I can’t begin to tell you how many chocolate covered pretzels and boxes of chocolate I have consumed within the last few weeks. As mush as I love the holidays I also get very upset with myself because all of my self control goes totally out the window. I should truly be embarrassed but I’m not so….
Anyway holiday parties are in full swing, I will be attending a few myself and nothing makes a grandiose party like a signature party cocktail to get the trap karaoke going. So if you are throwing a party and want to save on the cost of liquor try opting for a signature cocktail. To me it shows creativity without looking cheap and asking for BYOB ( even though nothing is wrong with that) . A signature cocktail will be a cute add on to the festive night.
Of course I troll anything tasty and delicious and I stumbled across this Cranberry Mojito Punch recipe on Pinterest from blogger Rebecca who is the creator of the cute and scrumptious site Sugar&Spice. Rebecca created this super tasty cocktail Cranberry Mojito Punch and she didn’t use a bunch ingredients which is also a good save of the coins during the holiday time.
Check out the recipe below & Happy Holidays!!!
A festive sparkling cocktail that’s sure to have everyone dancing the night away at your holiday party! Author: Rebecca Recipe type: Drinks Serves: 4 INGREDIENTS ½ cup granulated sugar 1 cup loose fresh mint, plus some for garnish 2 limes, sliced and divided 1 cup cranberries, plus some for garnish ½ cup fresh lime juice 1 cup light rum ½ cup cranberry juice concentrate, thawed 1 12 oz. can Dasani Sparkling Water Lime crushed ice INSTRUCTIONS
Add sugar and mint to a pitcher and muddle. Add the slices of one lime along with 1 cup of fresh or frozen cranberries to the pitcher. Pour in fresh squeezed lime juice and rum, stir to dissolve sugar. Pour in cranberry juice concentrate and stir. Top off with Dasani Sparkling Water Lime. Fill glasses with crushed ice, pour punch over ice and garnish with cranberries, mint, and a fun straw. NOTES Replace Rum with extra Dasani Sparkling Water Lime for a non-alcoholic version. If making in advance, wait to add the ice and Dasani until just before serving so as not to water down or lose carbonation.
